Fire Pit Sites
Use:
Sites with fire pits are to be used by Guests who have reserved and paid for those sites. Please see the front desk if you would
like to upgrade to a fire pit site.
Lighting:
Turn the timer nob to the desired time you would like the fire to run for. Press and hold the ignition button. If the fire fails to
light in 5 seconds turn off the timer. Wait 5 minutes before attempting to light again. Turn the timer nob to the off position to shut off
the fire.
Garbage: DO NOT burn anything in the firepit. Garbage and debris smell terrible when it is burned and leave a mess for our staff and
the next guest. If there is plastic or other garbage that is melted into the lava rock of the fire pit your credit card will be charged a $250
fee to clean/replace the lava rock.
Marshmallows, Hot Dogs, Etc.: We are serious about our cleaning fee so that you can roast delicious things over your fire pit. We
ask that you maintain a clean firepit, supervise your children and be safe (see the next line)!
Safety: It is your responsibility to operate the fire pit in a safe manner. The fire pit should always be lit, supervised, and turned off by
a responsible adult. Always keep children and pets at least 3’ away from the fire pit. Have a fire extinguisher available when using the
fire pit.
Unsupervised Fire Pits:
If no guests are at the fire pit they need to be turned off. Our staff will turn off fire pits that are left
unattended. The 2 nd infraction will result in the gas being turned off to the firepit. NO refunds or reimbursements will be made for sites
if the gas is turned off and under no circumstances will the gas be turned back on during your stay.
Other/General Policies
CCTV Surveillance:
To minimize liability and maintain security, Bend RV Resort operates an extensive CCTV camera system
throughout the premises. These cameras record audio and video 24/7, both in plain view and discreetly positioned.
Electricity: Power pedestals are owned by Bend RV Resort and are not to be tampered with or modified in any way. Guests staying on
monthly rates will be billed per kWh used.
Emergency:
Please dial 911 in the event of an emergency. Guests must comply with all resort staff instructions during an emergency.
Garbage and Recycling:
Please place garbage and recycling in waste bins located throughout the resort. Garbage placed in bins at
sites must be bagged (no loose trash). Trash is picked up daily from these bins. Bend RV Resort is unable to dispose of mattresses,
couches, chairs, hazardous materials or large items.
Laundry Room:
Please remove your laundry promptly after the cycle has ended. Once the machine cycle ends, it is our policy to
allow anyone, including other Guests and staff, to transfer articles from the machines to a laundry cart. If you prefer that others do not
handle your clothes, we recommend removing them by the completion time displayed on your machine.
Package and Mail Receiving:
Guests are welcome to ship packages and mail to our address. Please ensure timely retrieval of your
mail. Mail or packages received after your departure will be discarded or returned to the sender, as we do not provide mail-forwarding
services. For extended stays, we recommend obtaining a P.O. box or using a mail service in the local area instead of changing your
address to our location.
Personal Belongings: While Bend is generally considered a low-crime area, we advise you to take necessary precautions to secure
your belongings. This includes items such as bicycles, BBQs, camp chairs, and coolers.
Sewer Hookup: All sewer hoses must be in good working condition with no leaks. It is the responsibility of the Guest to insure a leak
proof connection from RV to sewer. Guests are responsible and will be charged for any damage or cleanup caused by their sewer
hookup.
Wi-Fi Availability:
Bend RV Resort offers Wi-Fi access for all Guests as a complimentary amenity. However, due to various factors
affecting signal reliability inside RVs, the provision of Wi-Fi is on a “best-effort” basis and cannot be guaranteed. Network
connectivity and performance may also be impacted by upstream network issues beyond the control of Bend RV Resort.
Wood Fire Regulations:
Bend RV Resort does not provide fire rings for wood fires. Wood fires are strictly prohibited May 15-
September 15, or any time fire danger is high, or the air quality index is above 100 in central Oregon. Wood campfires are permitted in
your own fire pit if the fire pit has legs or other measures to prevent damage to the ground, landscaping and grass. The use of charcoal
BBQs is also allowed but follows the same restrictions as wood fires. DO NOT dispose of ash in resort trash cans. Please see the front
desk to confirm if wood fires are allowed and for metal containers to dispose of ash. Propane fire pits and propane BBQs are permitted
anytime.
